Are you a club member getting out on the XC Ski trails during this fantastic weather? If so, then sign up to participate in the Cross Country Ski Ontario COVID Challenge and help us compete against other clubs from across the province for total distance skied. It's as simple as putting your name in the online spreadsheet and then entering the total distance you ski on a specific day. It's also a great way to track your skiing over the season. The Challenge runs from Jan 1st to March 31st, so there is lots of time to put in some kilometers.

So click on the link below, enter your name and start filling in the column every time you go out for a ski!

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at drydenski@gmail.com or message us on the facebook page or the Dryden XC trails facebook group.

Click on the Picture to the left for the link to the spreadsheet & enter your name and/or log your ski distances.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF DRYDEN SKI CLUB TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CHALLENGE

The Dryden Ski Club (DSC) will not be able to open the Chalet or alpine skiing until January 9th 2021. DSC will continue to do our part and implement our COVID Operational Plan and Safety Plan to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. DSC will operate in compliance with the advice, recommendations and instructions of the public health. Operating in these unprecedented times is a change in our behaviour. To ensure we can have an enjoyable ski season let's follow the rules, be respectful and humble with each other.

Over the next few weeks DSC volunteers will continue to groom our cross country trails within 12-24 hours of snowfall accumulation. We are hoping that users will place money in the drop-box or purchase a cross country season pass at www.skidryden.com

Once we are able to open up fully we will ensure we maintain our distances and follow the recommended changes for 2021. DSC staff/volunteers and Executive look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year.

Those that ski together - stay together - Stay Safe Dryden

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
